Training on child rights and child labour laws...a two day program for all the MPS/MCS officers government pleaders and relevant stake holders at Nongstoin, West Khasi Hills District, Meghalaya. Discussion on case study and various topics including

ABUSE OF CHILDREN AT HOME AND SCHOOL,
TRAFFICKING OF CHILDREN,
CHARTER FOR CHILD RIGHTS
RIGHTS OF A CHILD
JUVENILE JUSTICE ACT

were taken up as a part of training imparted to the participants.

JHARNA FOUNDATIONS FIRST PAN-INDIA PROJECT

FOUNDATIONS FIRST PAN-INDIA PROJECT WITH IIM-A INNITIATIVE SMILE FOUNDATION

Its a step towards Jharna Foundatons first Pan-India expansion and feels proud to be associated with IIM-A innitiative SMILE which is working for underpreviledged and under nourished children . Jharna Foundation conducted food and study material distribution for the children of SMILE and it was really heart warming to see all the children so excited to get help from the teachers and so happy to get education. Kudos to all for such an innitiative which helps provide free education to slum children from nearby three areas of ahemdabad and also to the Municipal Corporation of Ahemdabad for providing them with the space for the classrooms.
